Using our brand new Import/Install feature, importing & installing demo data (post, pages, images, theme settings, …) is easier than ever. It will allow you to import everything and install it with one click instead of importing the various files manually.

It also adjusts all the necessary settings alleviating you from having to update settings in the Theme Customizer, Menu, General Settings, and Divi Theme Options after importing the demo data.

When you import the data, the following things will happen:

  • No existing posts, pages, categories, images, custom post types or any other data will be deleted or modified.
  • No WordPress settings will be modified.
  • Posts, pages, images, widgets, and menus will get imported.
  • Customizer & Divi Theme Options will be imported.
  • Primary and Secondary headers will be enabled.
  • The Reading Settings will change the Front Page Display to Home
  • Images will be downloaded from our server, these images are copyrighted and are for demo use only.
  • Please click import only once and wait, it can take up to several minutes depending on your server speed.

Optional Setting Changes

Make a Splash Extended Customizer Settings

We have integrated a brand new set of Customizer Settings so that you no longer have to change any of the colors in the CSS Stylesheet. Just log into the Theme Customizer and you will see our new settings at the top of the list.

Simple Color Settings

By using the Simple Color Settings, you can reset your two primary colors throughout the website. Just be sure to Tick the box after you have chosen your colors. Be sure to hit “Save and Publish” to save your settings.

Once you hit “Save & Publish” you should “reload/refresh” the page and you will notice all the rest of the “Make a Splash Settings”
have been updated.

Now you can go into the other “Make a Splash Settings” and make individual changes to any of the elements that are changed by the primary reset so that you are not stuck with those color changes. And if you ever want to do another reset, just go back into the Simple Color Settings and reset as  many times as you like.

Login Screen Customizer

We have made it easier than ever to customize your Login Screen using the native customizer screen.

Adding Your Own CSS Customizations

When making additional custom changes to your CSS, we highly recommend using the Custom CSS Section in the Divi Theme Options. This will allow you to save your additional customization in case there is a new child theme update in the future.
